Isfahan Artificial Intelligence Competitions (IAI) is a series of competitions hosted by the Isfahan National Elite Foundation in order to use artificial intelligence to solve the real challenges and problems of the country, especially the city of Isfahan. The purpose of holding this event is to promote artificial intelligence and identify and strengthen capable and talented people to solve the real problems of the country’s industries. The first round of these competitions will be held this year at the same time as the Mustafa Award event in Isfahan.
Isfahan Artificial Intelligence Competition, introduced as IAI , is a series of competitions hosted by Isfahan National Elite Foundation in line with the application of artificial intelligence in solving the real challenges and problems of the country, especially the city of Isfahan. In these national competitions, several challenges of the real issues of the country are raised in different fields. Talented and creative teams are then registered and evaluated to participate in the competition. The data for each challenge is sent to the approved teams in that challenge and the data prediction results are uploaded by the teams after a period of data review. Based on the evaluation framework introduced for each challenge, the top teams will be determined, and finally, the closing event will be held in person in Isfahan city, including awarding programs, holding workshops, specialized meetings about challenges, and networking and introducing people.
The first round of these competitions will be held this year at the same time as the Mustafa Award event in Isfahan.
The goals of these competitions include the following:
1) Promotion of artificial intelligence in the country and the city of Isfahan
2) Identifying talented and capable people and introducing them to related industries
3) Team building and networking of active people in the field of artificial intelligence
4) Discussion and exchange of opinions between academics and industrialists
All researchers and industrialists are invited to participate in the challenge of Isfahan artificial intelligence competitions and introduce real problems in their field of work that can be solved with artificial intelligence techniques for the round of talented teams.
Submitted proposals must include the following information:
Contact information: name, phone number, and email address of the organizers
Suggested Challenge: Include the overall goal of the challenge and relevant AI sub-domains to solve the challenge, also if this challenge has been held in the past or if a website for the challenge has already been created, please provide its address.
Data and evaluation framework: Since the IAI competition aims to apply artificial intelligence to real problems, each challenge requires a real data set and a detailed evaluation strategy.
Participants: What conditions should the audience of the challenge meet and how many teams are the minimum
Number of participating teams to hold the competition?
Publication of the achievements of the challenge: publication of a summary article about the winners, as well as the new techniques developed and presented for the held challenge, can be beneficial in order to solve better the problem raised by the challenge in future research. Is this an attractive option for the participants in the proposed challenge?
